We’re so glad you found our new website—thanks for staying connected! As we prepare to return to Kyrgyzstan, please pray for clarity and provision as our landlord is selling the home we’ve been renting, and we’re uncertain where we’ll be living next.

Friends & Family!

If you’re reading this, it means you found our new website—and figured out how to navigate it. 🎉 Hopefully it’ll make things easier to follow along and stay connected as well as keep things a little more secure. Thanks so much for hanging in there with us as we figure out the best ways to organize and share what God is doing.

What We’ve Been Up To This Summer:

This summer has been moving fast—one of those seasons that feels full in the best way, and somehow still slipping through our fingers. A few weeks ago, we had the sweet privilege of traveling up to Pennsylvania to spend time with some dear friends, visit with Ariana’s family, and several churches who have walked with us so faithfully.

One Sunday we were with our sending church, Grace Bible Chapel in Rising Sun, Maryland—worshipping together and sharing stories of all that God is doing in Kyrgyzstan. We also got to visit Calvary Bible Fellowship in Sinking Spring, PA, another church that has supported us so generously over the last year.

It’s hard to put into words how encouraging those visits were. Just hearing someone say, “We’ve been praying for you,” brought me to tears more than once. I felt so seen, so held by the Lord through His people. What a gift the Church is.

We’re back in Texas now and plan to stay here for the rest of our time in the States checking off a few administrative things. After that trip, we've returned from that time in PA feeling deeply refreshed.

Prayer Request:

The landlord of the home we’ve been renting in Kyrgyzstan has decided to sell the property. We are seeking the Lord for the potential of purchasing it in order to have some stability for our family in the transition back to Kyrgyzstan. Unfortunately, at this time, the landlord is needs a cash offer.

As of now, we’re unsure what that means for our return in September.

We’re asking the Lord to either open the door for us to stay/purchase this property or to clearly redirect us to another home that will serve our family and ministry well. The thought of moving and house hunting while also readjusting to cross-cultural life feels daunting, so we’re really asking for God’s peace, clarity, and provision.

Would you pray with us? That we would trust Him fully in this uncertainty, and that—whatever the outcome—we’d continue to walk forward with open hands and quiet hearts.

Thank you for carrying these things with us!

Love, The Scotts ♥️
