Spreadin' poo and the Gospel!
The Lord is at work! Sometimes in the most unassuming ways.

Before reaching this stage, there was extensive testing happening - evaluating soil nutrient depletion levels, (a huge issue in central Asia) observing how the crops responded to our bioproducts, and determining its effectiveness. To help with that process, the Lord graciously sent us a mobile soil lab technician and his wife and 5 kids! Over the last 8 months he has worked tirelessly testing soil from many rural farms across Kyrgyzstan and identifying the microbial content of our fertilizer. He has been such an incredible asset to the team and value that we can offer farmers and a clear blessing from the Lord as we pursue our goals of bringing sustainable farming and Gods blessing to the region.
A special part of this relationship has also been in the opportunity to share the Gospel. This family is Mormon and, by God's grace, He has placed them among this large group of Christ-followers-- both within Integra and also in Ariana's homeschool Co-op community. Their time in Kyrgyzstan is coming to a close, as they were only scheduled to be here for 9 months, but we've been thankful for the unlikely friendship opportunity.
Just recently, we had them over for a workout and meal. Our conversations weren't deeply spiritual, but we simply asked them how they've grown during their time living in such a unique culture. The next day we rejoiced to hear that the husband had gotten lunch with another M worker here, asking many questions about the Christian faith. Praise God for the Spirit's gentle stirring in their hearts!
Then, just this past weekend at a birthday party, they eagerly told us they were going to attend a local church. The husband shared that they have often experienced hate and misunderstanding from "christians" because of their faith differences. He said he wanted to understand why Christians believe their faith differs from Mormonism, since they see themselves as Christians too. We were deeply encouraged to hear their openness and willingness to seek truth. Would you pray with us for this family- that they would continue to ask questions and that God would reveal His Truth to them!
Fall has arrived here in Bishkek!
It was a big week for Integra as we began spreading a significant amount of biofertilizer on a bunch of new fields! We recently retrofitted a large manure spreader truck that allowed us to spray our BPS fertilzer on 50hectars rather than hand spraying individual plants. We are excited to see the benefits for the crops come Spring as many of these are still experimental! We are building some great relationships with farmers who are very excited about the results so far!
God Bless!
