Hello All! We apologize for the long silence since our last update... But we've received some upexpected news!
We are expecting another baby! 🥳🤰🏼
We knew we wanted to have another baby at some point, and we had been praying and asking the Lord for wisdom about when the right time would be. So, you can imagine our surprise when we found out we were expecting—especially since we weren’t trying! It wasn’t quite the timing we had imagined, but we’re trusting that the Lord’s timing is better than our own and are so grateful for this unexpected gift.

Pregnancy, for Ariana is a particularly challenging trial. In her previous pregnancies, she has experienced extreme, all-day nausea, and unfortunately, this pregnancy has been no different...The sickness has really taken a toll on our family, and many of our normal activities and rhythms have had to be put on hold for a few months as we wait and pray for the nausea to subside.
We are thankful that we’ve been able to find a good private clinic here in Kyrgyzstan, where Ariana has been able to receive IV fluids when she hasn’t been able to keep enough food or fluids down. We’re especially grateful for the Lord’s provision through that.
Would you please pray for our family during this season?
● For Ariana: That she would persevere through the nausea, continually look to the Lord for strength, and trust Him in the midst of this difficult season. Please also pray that the Lord would graciously bring relief sooner rather than later in this pregnancy.
● For Brad: As Ariana has been less able to care for things at home, Brad has had to take on many additional responsibilities while continuing his full-time workload with Integra. Please pray for strength, wisdom, and endurance for him.
● For our girls: Please pray for their hearts as Mom isn’t as available as she normally is. They understandably get sad when they see Mom sick and unable to do the things we normally enjoy together. Pray that they would be patient and understanding, and that they would see God’s grace even in this challenging season.
We are so thankful for your prayers and for the ways the Lord continues to sustain our family through this unexpected season.
